125 Liberty Springfield with Pressley, Harris and Campbell.

AG Andrea Joy Campbell representing the state agency that awarded the $2B Springfield courthouse lease filed with the court three affidavits from state employees and a legal brief in advance of a Tuesday hearing date in which the AG labeled an effort by the failed bidders to halt the award process a “fever dream of imagined malfeasance”

Meanwhile government watchdog the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance claims Campbell herself is comprised in representing the state and the winning bidders on the basis of dozens of donations made from Suffolk Construction employees to Campbell according to the Office of Campaign and Political Finance.

Campbell says the proposal filed by Springfield businessman Jeb Balise “would have cost the taxpayers approximately $420 million more than Liberty Junction's proposal.”
