Climate activists got a sneak peak of the Healey administration’s new state procurement rules aimed at reducing the total amount of carbon - especially modifying the use and type of concrete - involved in the construction of state funded projects.

Beverly Craig, representing the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and the Embodied Carbon Intergovernmental Coordinating Council, gave the briefing to the Massachusetts Climate Action Network today and included a list of materials subject to the new regulations expected later this month.
