Governor Maura Healey let her TDS rage before a live audience this morning as she told Boston Public Radio that officials reporting to President Trump should defy presidential orders: “there are people who could stop him from doing things that are really dangerous, really cruel and frankly make America less secure in the world.”

Healey made the insurrection-y comments in response to a Jim Braude rant labeling Trump as “sadistic, misogynistic, racist…this is a man who has some real cognitive problems I would argue has some serious mental health problems and to me the worry is not just his grotesque behavior, but he does have his finger on the nuclear button…do you worry about the mental of this guy and what and what he has potential to do in that state?”

“Donald Trump I think he’s got has all those the issues you just laid out Jim,” Healey responded, “I think all of what you say is true. You put your kid in front of a TV to watch him, that .”

Healey called Trump a “Grinch” for shutting down construction on five offshore wind projects as she inferred that construction would continue despite Monday’s order by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum order halting the projects based in part on national security concerns. Healey promised to sue and predicted victory, calling Burgum’s national security rationale a “fabrication.”

Braude also asked Healey about the voter approved audit the legislature question, but the Governor demurred declaring "I don't have any power" to enforce the audit.
